This year the 9th Exhibition for South-East Europe covered a wide range of waste management topics with emphasis on circular economy, the funding of waste management projects, energy efficiency and renewable energy; waste management and recycling; and the transition to smart cities. Leading companies from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain, Finland, France, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, USA and UK presented new solutions and technologies for waste management and provided the networking and business opportunity for specialists from the Balkans.

The complementing side programme SEE Conference on Waste Management & Environment featured a new partnership with The LIFE Programme - the EU funding tool for the Environment and Climate Action. The programme includes presentations on ‘New Business Models for Circular Economy’, ‘EASME Financing’, ‘Waste Management & Recycling Solutions’ and more.

ISWA’s presence came as part of the exciting collaboration with Save the Planet marking the first-time attendance of ISWA at this ambitious event.
