ISWA seeks an Editor in Chief for Waste Management & Research

The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) seeks an Editor in Chief for its reputable Scientific Journal, Waste Management & Research (WM&R).

ISWA – The International Solid Waste Association – is an international, independent and non-profit making association, working in the public interest to promote and develop sustainable waste management worldwide. Waste Management & Research is a professional peer reviewed journal published monthly under the auspices of ISWA. WM&R publishes articles relating to both the theory and practice of waste management and research. WM&R is dedicated to satisfying the rapidly growing demand for emerging and leading scientific information in the solid waste arena.

ISWA invites internationally recognised researchers fluent in spoken and written English in the field of waste management and sustainable development with excellent communication and networking skills to apply to this open position. The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become the leading representative for academic research within the waste industry on the international scale.

Candidates are sought who can demonstrate excellent editorial and people management skills, with the ability to develop and lead a highly qualified and talented team consisting of 8 Associate Editors and an Editorial Board consisting of 30 professionals. Working with and supported by the Board of ISWA the successful candidate will be required to continue driving the development of this Journal working directly with the publishers to deliver high quality content to a continually expanding audience.

Remuneration for the position will be in the form of an honorarium based on the experience and the criteria fulfilled by the successful candidate.
