ICSWHK 2013 – 2nd International Conference on Solid Waste 2013: Innovation in Technology and Management

The “2nd International Conference on Solid Waste 2013: Innovation in Technology and Management” organised by Sino-Forest Applied Research Centre for Pearl River Delta Environment  (ARCPE), Hong Kong Baptist University, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 5-8 May 2013 following the success of the first conference in 2011, with over 500 participants from 33 countries.

 

In order to share the most updated and advanced knowledge from all over the world on sustainable waste management, the ICSWHK 2013 will deliberate on various issues related to innovation in waste treatment technology in the broad areas of “policy & strategies, technical developments in waste separation, collection and recycling, life cycle analysis, energy production and biological treatment, climate change and business opportunities”.

 

The Conference is now calling for abstract submission and selected papers will be considered for publishing In special issues of Bioresource Technology and Environmental Technology.

 

To recognize young talents in the waste management and research field, International Young ‘Waste’ Researcher Award and Best Poster Award will be presented.

 

Financial aid in the form of registration, accommodation or travel will be available for selected participants.

A discount of 20% will be offered to group registrations while registration fee of students will be waived.

 

Deadline for abstract submission is by 30 Nov. 2012.
