ISWA is delighted to welcome Bertin Medical Waste as our latest Silver Member.

Bertin Medical Waste, a brand of Bertin Technologies (CNIM Group), offers innovative solutions for the on-site treatment of biomedical waste thanks to a patented 100% electric technology combining shredding and sterilization by microwaves in one single vessel. Sterilwave solutions allow its users – hospitals, healthcare centers, laboratories, and any other sector producing potentially infectious medical waste – efficient & reliable treatment and decontamination of medical waste directly on their production site in order to control and limit the risks of external contamination. This microwave sterilization solution, recognized and recommended by the World Health Organization and the United Nations for the treatment of hospital waste, allows, in 30 minutes, to transform them into uncontaminated inert waste that can then be treated through the same channels as household waste.
