SUMMARY:The Impact of Management Choices on Landfill Methane Emissions
DESCRIPTION:What is the impact of landfill management choices on landfill methane emissions? Landfill Management choices in this context is the timing of installing landfill gas collection system\, whether it begins in the beginning of a cell operation or toward the end prior to cell closure.  In this webinar we intend to clarify the impact of these different landfill management choices on landfill methane emissions in different regions and climate zones around the world in six major continents. \nThe webinars shows the results of an initiative from ISWA’s Working Group on Landfill. The initiative was set up to explore scenarios\, select models\, and model the impact of landfill management choices; the results of which will culminate into an ISWA White Paper. \nDuring this webinar we will demonstrate scenarios in 6 different continents with different climate zones by using a selected model to measure the impact of landfill management choices.
