DESCRIPTION:During this one-hour update we will discuss ISWA’s strategic focus for this year. In highlighting the important topics that ISWA will be bringing to the global arena\, we will share the goals we hope to achieve in being seen at international podia\, as representatives of the Waste & Resource Management sector. \nWe will go into detail regarding a particularly pertinent topic: the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) on plastic pollution. ISWA is actively involved in the development of a legally binding instrument on plastic pollution set up by the United Nationals Environment Programme. During this webinar\, members can learn how to get involved with the ISWA Task Force on Plastics Pollution. \nThe event will be for ISWA members only and two sessions are scheduled to accomodate all timezones.
