DESCRIPTION:Click here for more information and to register\n			\n			 \n				\n				\n			 \n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Following the introduction of mandatory separate collection of household hazardous waste (HHW) across the EU\, the Hazards Out project continues the discussion by looking at what happens once HHW has been collected.\nGabriel Chifflier\, the Vice Chair of ISWA Working Group on Hazardous Waste will be represent ISWA in the workshop and will discuss the guidelines on safe and effective HHW management\, including the key Dos and Don’ts in HHW management.\nThis workshop focuses on the operational aspects of HHW management\, including safe transport\, temporary storage\, treatment and recovery. Topics include logistics and safety requirements\, storage at civic amenity sites and treatment facilities\, treatment and recovery options\, and practical Dos and Don’ts for operators and local authorities.
