World Urban Forum (WUF13)

Co convened by UN Habitat and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the World Urban Forum is the United Nations premier global platform on sustainable urban development.
Under the theme Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities, WUF13 will focus on how adequate housing, infrastructure and basic services can be delivered at scale under growing affordability, climate, and urbanization pressures.
Each edition of the Forum brings together more than 25,000 participants from over 180 countries, including heads of state, ministers, mayors, governors, investors, companies, business associations, startups and SMEs, development finance institutions, international organizations, professionals and practitioners. This unique convening power makes WUF a key space where urban policy priorities, investment frameworks, and delivery models are shaped and aligned.
Across five days, WUF13 will host main sessions, partner led events, and a large-scale Urban Expo, creating a solutions-oriented environment where policy, finance, and implementation intersect across the full housing and construction value chain. The Urban Expo provides a dedicated platform for organizations to showcase solutions, demonstrate innovations, and engage directly with governments, investors, and urban decision makers.
