21 Jan 2019 -

ISWA is delighted to introduce you to our four new members:

Uruguay: Cámara de Empresas Gestoras de Residuos del Uruguay (CEGRU):

CEGRU, The Association of Waste Management Companies of Uruguay, becomes the fifth member of ISWA’s Latin American RDN, joining Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia as ISWA’s network in the region continues to grow.

Established in 2014, CEGRU is a civil association composed of more than thirty waste management companies that operate in all stages of the waste management system in Uruguay. Our mission is to develop and strengthen the waste management industry, in cooperation with public and private stakeholders.

"We believe that becoming ISWA National Member in Uruguay is an opportunity, both for our organization and for our country, to be able to access quality technical information and to interact with partner institutions. It will surely make us grow as an organization and it will contribute to sustainable development in our country" Said Chiara Fioretto of CEGRU.
