China Urban Construction Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CUCD) is a research and engineering institute with expertise in a variety of fields in urban construction and development. CUCD was founded in 1985, and now it is a part of the China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. (the Group), which is managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council.


CUCD holds Class A Qualification Certificates for a wide variety of engineering and consulting practices for municipal infrastructures, public utilities, architecture and landscape, urban planning, turnkey engineering contracts and construction supervision, Class B Qualification Certificates for thermal generation utility engineering and tourism planning, and also holds licenses for environmental infrastructure operation and international economic cooperation. CUCD manages engineering and design projects for urban sanitation, landscape and gardens, urban water supply and waste water treatment, urban heat supply and municipal roads, industrial and civil building architecture, and conducts urban planning and research in these fields.


In the past 30 years since its founding, CUCD has developed a first-rate technical team with strong R&D capabilities and rich practical experience. This team has established itself as a leader in several fields, and boasts a staff of more than 1000 individuals. CUCD has achieved many successes in research, planning and engineering projects.
