As a “National Member” , ISWA Austria is the national platform of ISWA in Austria and offers its members the interface to international waste management, as well as to global initiatives related to waste management. Thanks to the increased cooperation with the ÖWAV, both efficient office structures and improved communication strategies have been used since the beginning of 2008.
ISWA Austria pursues the goal of supporting the implementation of international know-how transfers and the participation of ISWA International in global waste management initiatives through active participation in relevant committees and decision-making bodies of ISWA International, thereby enabling the participation of Austrian ISWA Austria members.
