Hey everyone, I’m Rae Chwee – the new Membership Engagement Manager of ISWA, hailing from sunny Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from UCSI University Kuala Lumpur. Right after graduating, I joined the Waste Management Association of Malaysia (WMAM) where I worked for over 8 years.
While at WMAM, I was part of the ISWA World Congress Organising Committee and I was also the chair of the ISWA YPG in 2020. Through my many years in WMAM I have grown my passion for waste and environmental issues and I’m keen to grow and progress in the environmental and waste industry.
