ARS, Asociación para el Estudio de Residuos Sólidos, is a non-profit association established in Buenos Aires, Argentina, created in 1997. Its major objective is to professionalize and provide qualifications for those individuals and/or entities associated with the collection, transport, recycling and final disposal of solid waste. The need to improve the existing solid waste management techniques gave rise to its foundation.
