The ISWA YPG Colombian chapter was officially launched on 4th April, 2020, through an online conference with attendance of 25 people! During the virtual event there was a short presentation by Dr. Andrea Winterstetter (Local and Regional ISWA YPG Networks coordinator), one by Vishwas Vidyaranya (ISWA YPG member from India/Germany) and the ISWA YPG Colombian group leaders Catalina Ospina and Felipe Puentes.
During the 2-hour online event, participants learnt about the history of ISWA and the goal of ISWA YPG; inviting them to participate in the activities that will take place in the Colombia chapter. The new #FlagshipProject2020 #TheFaceBehindMyWaste and awareness raising strategies on the integrated management of solid waste were highlighted.
