How we manage our waste, or fail to, is of significant consequence. Many developing countries rely on dumpsites for receiving waste and the impact this has on our coastal areas and wider environment is huge and will only worsen if nothing changes.
Closing the world’s largest dumpsites must be a priority and any collective effort to reduce the global temperature must take them into account.
