2nd Conference on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Coatings
Considering the successful experience of the “1st Conference on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Coatings” organised as final event of the project ECOFUNCO “Agri-food biomass valorization for production of sustainable multifunctional coatings on plastic and cellulose substrate” held in June 2022, the University of Pisa has decided to organize a second edition to be held on 28-30th June 2023.
The present conference will be joined to the running BBIJU Project RECOVER “Development of innovative biotic symbiosis for plastic biodegradation and synthesis to solve their end of life challenges in the agriculture and food industries”.
A dedicated section of the conference will focus on running and incoming European projects in green chemistry and biobased, circular economy.
Marco Ricci, vice-chair of ISWA’s Working Group Biological Treatment of Waste, is giving a session on Day 3, 30th June, from 9:00-10:00 on “The role of bioplastics in organic waste recycling”.
