ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA international trade exhibition for the environmental industry, infrastructure development, waste, and water management is a meeting point in the Central Eastern European region gathering companies, policy-makers experts and entrepreneurs committed to sustainable technologies.

This trade exhibition aims to showcase innovative solutions and good practices for trade visitors interested in the latest sectoral and industry trends, EU regulations (taxonomy, ESG, ESRS, CSRD), and environmental technologies. Visitors can learn about the Hungarian and international environmental industry and build new business relationships to boost future cooperation in the region. The focus of the exhibition is one of the most important questions of the 21st century: how can we keep our environment at a livable level by transforming our society, economy, and industrial activities, with adaptation practices and serve economic actors interested and active in mitigation and resilience?

ISWA-related conference with ISWA participation: Circular Economy, Waste Management – Prevention, Reuse, Recovery

The conference will focus on how prevention, reuse and recovery can be implemented in practice, presenting good practices as well. As the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan define our ambitious targets and drive us towards a carbon-neutral continent, in our backyards, illegal dumpsites and polluted rivers highlight our urgent tasks and obligations. With ISWA’s participation, we will get a big picture of the global trends and status quo to deep dive into regional challenges and upcoming tasks.

[Following the conference, we also plan to organise a workshop of the ISWA Regional Chapter for Southeast Europe, inviting countries from the region to participate and brainstorm about cooperation and common project ideas.]
