IFAT Brazil 2024

The first IFAT Brazil will be held in São Paulo from April 24-26, 2024, in parallel with the established M&T Expo, the largest trade fair for the construction and mining machinery industry in Latin America. The new trade fair will drive the emerging market for environmental technologies in Brazil and the entire region.

In the next decade, the Brazilian wastewater sector will experience rapid development due to the government’s privatization strategy. Private investment will drive massive market growth for environmental technologies such as water collection, treatment and distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment. In this dynamic environment, IFAT Brazil will be the central platform for networking with all market players and promoting the widespread use of environmental technologies in Brazil and the entire region. And it will be instrumental in achieving the Brazilian government’s goals for drainage, waste management, water and wastewater management by 2033.

IFAT Brazil’s exhibition areas are water and wastewater management, drainage and sanitation infrastructure, waste management and energy recovery solutions. The energy sector focuses on energy recovery from waste, dried sludge and liquid waste materials.

In terms of content, an innovation pavilion and more than 15 thematic panels are planned. To this end, international and local partnerships will be established to strengthen the presentation of the main issues affecting the operation and decision-making of public and private managers, highlighting real experiences of the sector.
