Webinar: Building an Inclusive Green Workforce for Europe’s Circular Future
The webinar is coordinated and organised by the Horizon Europe project Wood2Wood. ISWA is the communication and dissemination partner for the project.
The shift to a circular economy is not just a technological challenge — it is a human one. This webinar explores how Europe is building the workforce it needs to deliver its circular ambitions by 2030, including the role of industry in driving upskilling. Speakers will share lessons from EU-funded projects on green skills development and how to embed circularity into professional training pathways. Industry speaker speaks to practice, researchers to evidence, and what’s emerging, and academic to systemic change.
Too often, conversations about green skills happen within silos — researchers talk to researchers, policymakers to policymakers. This panel breaks that pattern deliberately. By bringing together voices from research, industry, academia, and regional policy, the intention is to create a space where different communities not only share perspectives but genuinely learn from and challenge one another.
