Webinar: ISWA’s Road to COP29

In 2023, ISWA hosted the first-ever Waste and Resources Pavilion in the Blue Zone at the UNFCCC COP28, bringing the topic of sound waste and resource management to the fore in the global efforts to combat climate change. This year, ISWA will do the same in the Green Zone at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Former ISWA President Carlos Silva Filho and newly-elected current ISWA President James Law will lead the conversation featuring other champions of waste and climate change: Prof. Linda Godfrey, Manager Circular Innovation South Africa at CSIR and Anja Schwetje, Chair of ISWA’s Working Group on Climate Change and Waste Management.
