Week of the trash heroes (Week van de Afvalhelden)

In the Netherlands around 30.000 employees collect waste and resources on a daily basis, keeping the waste collection points going, transporting our waste and processing and recycling it. During the week of the trash hero (week van de Afvalhelden) from 6-12 March 2023, the Netherlands put these employees in the spotlight. Work of our trash heroes will continue through wind and rain, times of crisis, at night and during holidays. 

Without these trash heroes the Netherlands would be less clean, healthy and safe. Their work matters! Get inspired and join.
