As the climate crisis intensifies and Climate COPs work towards concrete global mitigation measures, waste and resource management is emerging as a critical part of the solution. This webinar will explore the essential role waste management plays in reducing emissions, advancing the circular economy, and ensuring a just transition.

German RETech Partnership e.V. (RETech), ISWA’s German National Member, is pleased to announce this year’s international conference titled “Transforming Islands’ Waste Management: Overcoming Challenges with Sustainable Solutions”.

The fifth and final session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5) to develop an internationally legally binding instrument on plastic pollution will be held from 25 November to 1 December 2024 ,at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) in Busan, Republic of Korea.
