Regional Networking Roundtable MENA: Public Awareness of Waste

Public awareness is crucial into the successful implementation of waste processes and seeing the importance of waste management. How does one include the community into waste, what is effective and how can one introduce and engage the community to create awareness?

During this roundtable we will focus on creating public awareness but also the importance of policy and enforcement within the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA). The idea of the roundtable is to inform about initiatives and point out opportunities, create a community and provide an opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities, therefore ample time will be available for discussion.

This roundtable is an initiative of be’ah (ISWA’s national member in Oman) and ISWA, and is intended for a Middle East and North Africa audience.
